The Originals City Hôtel Marseille Aéroport

The hotel and the room was very good for staying close by the airport. It was clean, simple but practical. We did not use the breakfast or had any food there so I don't know about this. We did use the free airport shuttle which was a great convenience from and to the airport. One thing travellers should know about this service, is that when you need to request this service while in the airport, you need to go to the specific "Hotel" marked station points and press the button "IBIS Style Hotels" and ask for the particular hotel name. I didn't know that detail so I had to press a few other button before getting it right!!

It was very helpful to be able to check in after midnight as our flight did not land until 11.45pm. Free parking, comfortable bed, nice breakfast. Nice breakfast room and lounge area on ground floor. Great hotel for pre or post flight overnight stays.

Great heart. The staff really put themselves out to find us something to eat when the restaurant was closed and we arrived late. Great value.

What a great find - close to airport with a free shuttle. We arrived earlier than check-in, despite a small delay coming to pick us up, they then manged to let us in the room earlier. Very clean, quiet rooms, small but well equipped. Buffet dinner and bar facilities were excellent - great selection on each course, fresh and very tasty. Great staff and service.

Straightforward, no frills hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Evening buffet for €22 was exceptional value and breakfast also good. Appreciated the shuttle to the airport the following day.
